Northern Lower Peninsula HIE covers northern part of the lower peninsula, including Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Iosco, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Preseque Isle, Roscommon and Wexford counties. It is coordinated by North Central Council of the Michigan Health & Hospital Association. They received one of five planning grants from the state in June 2007.
