Upper Peninsula HIE covers all of the upper peninsula, including Alger, Baraga, Chippewa, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Luce, Mackinac, Marquette, Menominee, Ontonagon and Schoolcraft counties. It is coordinated by Marquette General Health System. They received one of two implementation grants from the state in June 2007 and are currently expanding the HIE infrastructure for the area and has started limited data exchange.
